Science Doc Day at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival

Focus on internationalisation, sales and science documentary

The Science Doc Day is organised in collaboration with EURASF and with the participation of Doc/it – Italian Association of Documentarists. Free access to webinars + one-to-one meetings (upon registration) for all EURASF members!

On Tuesday, November the 3rd 2020 the programme of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival will host the Science Doc Day – a one-day programme of webinars, conferences and networking events dedicated to science documentary. The event will feature an overview on the trends and opportunities offered by the science documentary industry, a presentation of the 2020 edition of the World Congress of Science & Factual Producers 2020 by its director Paul Lewis, and a session of one-to-one meetings with professionals of the field. Among the confirmed attendees: Jessica Harrop (Sandbox Films), Pauline Mazenod (Windrose), Marita Hübinger (ZDF/ARTE), Patrizia Mancini (Sunny Side of the Doc), Markus Nikel (Global Media Consulting), Monica Bartoli (Rai Documentari), Anna Ferens (TVP – Telewizja Polska), Massimo Arvat (Zenit Arti Audiovisive).

The event is part of the Fantastic Film Forum, the section of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival dedicated to audiovisual professionals: this year’s edition boosts its programme and expands to five days, focusing this year on internationalisation and sales. The Fantastic Film Forum 2020 will take place online from October the 30th to November the 3rd, with a rich calendar filled with events: an intensive workshop on co-production and sales, a two-days session of one-to-one online meetings and lots of panels and conferences.
